And only the local seismometer fixed in a certain position after the initialization check.
When you need to initialize the check, use the UP key to move the cursor to "2. CALIBRATE" option, and then press the SET key to determine. LCD will show:
It is important that the seismograph can not be moved or vibrated throughout the calibration process. After the check is completed, the LCD will return to the normal operation interface.
Measurement (select submenu 3. Metering)
The measurement function is used to measure any external force acceleration other than gravity acceleration. these forces are decomposed into (XYZ) axial acceleration shown separately. The following legend illustrates the relationship between direction and coordinate axis. A vertical axis belt has a "^" sign. For the following columns, the Z axis is vertical.
The measurement function has two display modes. First one shows the acceleration in each coordinate direction (unit G); the other shows the inclination on each coordinate axis. Press the UP key for 1 second and the measurement function enters acceleration measurement mode. Press the DOWN key for 1 second and will enter angle measurement mode.
in the acceleration measurement mode, each force is described as the value of an absolute g- force (1.00 G i.e., the unit of gravity acceleration). Accurate G.0.01 If the initialization check is done when boot, each axis must now be displayed as 0.00 without any external force (Z axis is 1.00).
In the angle measurement mode, the system automatically calculates the deviation between the 3D angle of the current seismograph and the angle data after the previous initialization check. Unit for degree, accuracy 1 degree.
Alarm Trigger Value Settings4.Alarm Setting)
This function is used to set a trigger value for the local earthquake system to enter the alarm. Here are two ways to set the ASCE25-97 standard:
ASCE 25-97 standard provides seismic waves with a certain frequency range and the corresponding maximum and minimum acceleration threshold for determining whether an earthquake alarm is issued. Check A appendix for more information about this standard. Because of the high accuracy of the sensor, the system can divide the alarm part of the standard into 10 secondary levels.
This level is compiled into 01 to 10,01 is the most sensitive level ,10 is the lowest sensitivity. The default value of 06, at the middle level, is suitable for most situations. Use the UP key to change the ASCE level, press the ESC key to save the settings and return to the main function menu.
Early warning detection time5. Suspected Time)
Used to adjust the detection and reset time of early warning. Adjustment S.5-30
Earthquake alarm confirmation time*(select submenu 6. Earthquake Time)
Used to adjust the detection and reset time of earthquake alarm. Adjustment S.20-100
Early warning level (select submenu 7. Warning)
This feature is used to set the trigger level of the alert. There are 12 levels (01-12) to choose from. Level 01 is the most sensitive level and level 12 is the least sensitive level
Function Description of Relay
1.ALARM self-locking relay: when the acceleration value of the X、Y、Z shaft is greater than the alarm setting level (ASCE-LEVEL), the alarm output is carried out immediately, the self-locking relay action is ALARM, the screen, buzzer and indicator lamp are also prompted to operate accordingly, and the self-reset relay is reset at the same time. The relay can only be manually reset and remotely reset.
2.ALARM self-reset relay: when the acceleration value of the X、Y、Z axis is greater than the warning setting level (WARNING-LEVEL), the relay enters the early warning preparation stage. if the acceleration value of the X、Y、Z axis reaches the warning value again within 15 seconds, the relay continues to, and the screen, buzzer and indicator light also prompt the operation accordingly. After the vibration disappears, the delay setting time system automatically reset the screen, buzzer and indicator light into the suspected warning state. If the acceleration value of the X、Y、Z axis does not reach the warning value again during the suspected warning time, the system exits the warning state after Electronic reset.
3.TROUBLE self-locking relay: when the sensor fails, damage or external power down after the relay action suction and make the corresponding prompt interface, the relay can only manually operate reset, not remote reset.

Detection of suspected early warning
When the sensor detects the vibration, the display changes to the perceived state of the suspected warning, self reset relay action,
When the vibration stops, if the alarm is not triggered enough, the display will change to normal state, self-reset relay reset.
Then turn to normal detection mode.
Alert
As the acceleration of the vibration exceeds the preset value, the system enters the ALARM detection state. When the vibration is strong enough to meet the alarm conditions, the system will activate the response relay, buzzer issued a continuous alarm sound
When the vibration ends, the system holds all the recorded data
A non-automatic lock ALARM relay is automatically reset and the alarm sound is converted to intermittent sound. Alarm will flash on the display.
Press the ALARM RELAY CONTACT RESET key or close the REMOTE ALARM RESET input terminal to reset the self-locking ALARM relay contact.
Failure
when the system found an error during self-checking, TROUBLE flashed on the screen, the fault relay triggered, and the table below lists the possible causes of the failure.
Information | Description |
Not Colibrated | The sensor is not initialized. This error can be solved by initializing the check function. |
System Error | Sensor communication failure, need to return to the factory maintenance. |
When the fault is relieved, the liquid crystal will automatically clear the fault display. in any case, the fault self-locking relay is reset only by pressing the TROUBLE RELAY CONTACT RESET key. Reset power is not working.

Revision of intensity and magnitude
Seismic intensity measures the shaking degree caused by seismic vibration in a special area. It shows the impact of earthquakes on humans, buildings and the environment at a certain location.
A common Roman numeral I - XⅡ is used to distinguish the magnitudes. There are some decisive factors in the magnitude of the magnitude: the composition of the soil, the distance from the center of the earthquake, and the distance between the site of the earthquake and the surface. The magnitude is not expressed by numbers, but by the damage caused by some factors, the shock and the vibration. The information was collected by investigation after the earthquake.
MAX scale revision:
Ⅰ
An earthquake is not felt except in a special, very quiet environment.
Ⅱ
A few people in the rest or in the high floor can feel.
Ⅲ
What people in the house obviously feel, especially the people on the high floor. Many people didn't realize it was earthquake. The standing motorcycle vibrated slightly. The vibration resembles the passing of a truck. Not long.
Ⅳ
During the day many people in the house, a few outside the house can feel. At night, some awake people can feel it. The plates, windows, doors, walls were vibrated, feeling like a giant truck hitting the building, and the standing motorcycle swayed obviously.
Ⅴ
Almost everyone can feel it; many people are replaced. There are plates and windows are broken. Unstable objects turn. The pendulum may stop.
Ⅵ
Everyone can feel that many people are frightened. Some heavy furniture moves; a lot of dust falls. Minor damage.
Ⅶ
Minor damage is found in buildings with better design and construction; minor damage to ordinary better structural buildings; great damage to structures with poor building quality or design; and damage to some chimneys.
Ⅷ
The damage in some specially designed buildings is small; the ordinary strong buildings have great damage and partial collapse. The poor building structure is damaged greatly. Chimneys, factory viaducts, monuments, walls, etc. Heavy furniture overturned.
Ⅸ
The specially designed buildings were badly damaged; well-designed frames collapsed. Strong buildings are damaged and most of them collapse. The building is displaced.
Ⅹ
Some well-built wooden structures were destroyed; most stone and frame structures were destroyed. The track bends.
Ⅺ
Only a small number of buildings remained unbroken, the bridge was destroyed and the track was badly bent.
Ⅻ
All destroyed. line of sight and horizontal line are distorted. Objects fly in the air.
Power supply connection
With built-in power conversion module can be directly connected to the AC power supply (120 V 60Hz or 240 V 50Hz).
Warning: electric shock is dangerous. All electrical connections must be operated by qualified electrical personnel in accordance with all applicable regulations. Failure to comply with this warning may result in property loss, personal injury or death.
Connect power
